LaChandra Brooks-Prim, PhD, MPhil, MS, LPC

Mrs. Brooks-Prim is a licensed professional counselor that is dedicated to enriching the lives of others. 

She is a wife and mother of three. 

She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Human and Social Services from Walden University. She also has a Masters of Science in Counseling from Faulkner University and a Masters of Philosophy in Human and Social Services from Walden University.  She holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Troy University. 

Mrs. Brooks-Prim has a clinical and research background in managing trauma. She has garnered experience working with adults and couples through her work with various organizations. 

Leslie E. Ledbetter, LICSW, PCIT Therapist

Leslie Ledbetter is a licensed independent clinical social worker who believes that every human has value. 

Leslie holds a Master’s of Social Science Administration (MSSA) / Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree with a concentration in Community Practice for Social Change from Case Western Reserve University with additional coursework in psychopathology from Troy University.  Leslie has an additional certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) by PCIT International.  Her undergraduate experience includes a Bachelor’s of Science with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology with honors from Faulkner University.  She is trained in psychotherapy, advanced team facilitation, strategic planning, nonprofit management, and program design and evaluation.

Shija Brooks, LMSW

Ms. Hall is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor that helps others met their goals.

She holds a Masters of Education and Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University of Montgomery.  Ms. Hall has additional graduate coursework in Human and Social Services from Walden University.

Ms. Hall has experience in assisting with trauma, anxiety, abuse, life transitions, grief, problem-solving, and personal development.

Shija Brooks is a dedicated and compassionate licensed social worker with a passion for promoting mental health and well-being. She brings over 16 years of experience in helping individuals, families, and communities navigate life’s challenges through evidence-based care, advocacy, and support.

 
Shija earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Alabama State University and went on to receive her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Alabama. Her professional background spans diverse settings, including healthcare, corrections, community outreach, and clinical care, giving her a well-rounded perspective on mental health needs.
 
Shija takes a client-centered approach, focusing on holistic care and empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals. She believes in addressing not only mental health challenges but also social determinants of health to ensure lasting progress. Whether providing direct care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, or advocating for underserved populations, Shija is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
 
Her guiding philosophy is rooted in empathy, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate mental health care.

Ro'Nae Spencer, ALC

Ro’Nae Spencer is an ALC in Montgomery, Alabama. She holds a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Troy University and is currently completing her Doctorate in Sport Performance Psychology. She plans to work with professional athletes and currently serves the youth community.
